Leave of Absence1. No pupil may
remain absent from school without a leave note. No leave shall be granted except
against written application from parents / guardians. Leave will be granted
at the sole discretion of the Principal/Director. Such leave MUST be entered in
the Leave Record in the Calendar. It must be signed by the Parents/ Guardians
as well as the Principal/Director BEFORE the leave is taken. 2. Absence without
leave or leaving the school premises without the permission of the
Principal/Director for any reason whatsoever, is a grave offence deserving
severe punishment at the discretion of the Principal/Director. 3. Repeated absence renders the student liable to being
struck off the Rolls. 4. In the absence
of leave, which could not be obtained with prior permission of the Principal,
the pupil on returning to school MUST produce the parent’s explanation of his
absence in the Leave / Absence Record in the Calendar. Failure to produce such
explanation or medical certificate may result in the student being sent home
during class hours in which case the school disclaims all responsibility that
may arise out of such eventuality. 5. If a pupil is
absent due to illness for more than three days, the Principal/Director must be
informed at once and a Medical Certificate and a Fitness Certificate Should be
submitted on resuming School. |
